Sophie Faith
It’s hard to imagine now that Sophie Faith could ever have doubted herself. A rising star of British soul, she can already name a remarkable list of collaborators, from the incomparable Stormzy to jazz maestro Reuben James, and media support ranging from Jamz Supernova and Jamie Cullum to Complex, Earmilk, and being the face of Spotify’s UK Jazz playlist earlier this year.
A born performer, selling out shows on her last headline tour around the UK and Europe, Fresh from performances at this year Glastonbury festival Sophie is currently on a break from touring, and doing pop-up shows under her night ‘Sophie Faith & Friends,’ so this performance will be a real treat as she performs music from her forthcoming EP.
Benny Atlas
In the dynamic landscape of UK Soul and R&B, Benny Atlas has emerged as a compelling voice, articulating themes of love, masculinity, and personal growth through his music. Benny’s musical voyage began with his debut single "Paradise" in November 2020, followed by the "Honey Rum" EP, which garnered acclaim for its infectious grooves and Benny's robust vocal delivery. His career has since been on a promising trajectory, bolstered by support from platforms like BBC Radio 1 and Spotify, where he recently featured as the cover artist for the R&B UK playlist.
This year, he released his biggest project to date, a mixtape titled "Better Now You Know," which saw wide support from tastemakers such as Wonderland, Clash, The Rakish Gent, and more.
Kwoli Black
Kwoli Black. Blue. Yung Black. Axel Basquiat. Sir Li. 100Kwoli. Going by many names, Kwoli is able to fit into numerous personas, and thus, numerous sounds. An alternative hip-hop artist raised in Hackney and Grays, Kwoli describes himself as “The Rapper You Listen To When You Have Loved And When You Have Lost.”
He mixes thought-provoking and vulnerable lyricism with astoundingly potent instrumentation with the help of best friend and producer JSTRNGS, which makes for a deeply connective listening experience. Expect to hear tracks from his ‘Can I Speak?’ EP plus some unreleased exclusives.
