Since 2013, we have hosted weekly events at Dalston Eastern Curve Garden from June to September, using this beautiful and much-needed green space in the centre of Dalston for magical, unique outdoor live music events. During this time, our events have grown from unamplified, intimate shows in the cafe space to our own designated, covered stage with space for an audience of 200.
Artists at the Curve Garden:
Over this time, we have hosted hundreds of artists, from local musicians to those who have travelled from all over the world to perform at this special event. We are dedicated to finding the most exciting talent to make these events truly exceptional for the audience. On the flip side, we do everything we can to ensure the artists are well cared for and receive flawless hospitality and technical support for their show.
One-song artist videos
As well as producing and marketing the shows, we also offer artists the opportunity to film one-song videos in the garden before soundcheck, to capture their talent in this unique space. We record, mix and edit these one-take videos and post them in full on our YouTube channel. Clips from the videos are shared with artists for their own social media accounts. These videos help grow their presence online, and also provide high-quality footage which can be used to book future shows as they capture the essence of their live show accurately.
The videos also make our entire music programme accessible to the public, for those who are unable to attend.
The videos are shot at the garden before soundcheck starts to ensure enough time and attention can be given to the recording and filming process, without taking up an extra day of the artists’ time. They are recorded, filmed and edited free of charge to the artist.
