Parthenope is a 22 year-old Saxophonist and Singer originally from Leeds. She incorporates jazz improvisation and harmony into danceable songs with hooky, sparkly pop melodies and introspective lyricism. She has built a huge fanbase on social media and has a vast amount of experience on the London live jazz scene.
Parthenope's highly anticipated debut was released as a part of the ‘Bluenote Reimagined Vol.2’ compilation album, combining ‘todays finest artists in UK jazz’, as praised by Finanical Times.
Collaboration has been a key aspect of Parthenope’s career so far. She has performed, written and recorded with esteemed artists including Tom Misch, Celeste, Blue Lab Beats, Kojey Radical, Hak Baker, James Vickery and Gotts Street Park.
In 2023, Parthenope performed her original music at headline gigs including Hootananny Brixton, Peckham audio and Amazing Grace, as well as at British Summertime, We Out Here and Wilderness Festivals. With her second EP 'Bigger Picture' set to release this summer, Parthenope is one to watch this year.
Karolina Wilgus
Karolina Wilgus is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Poland. She writes alternative soul music inspired by Brazilian bossa nova and all things nature, combining light and breezy melodies with observant lyrics. In May, she released her debut EP “Growing an Absolute”, a soulful tribute to your playful inner child, which sparked an interest in both British and Polish music scenes. She dropped out of medical school last year and shortly after received a scholarship to study music at Berklee College in Boston, one of the most prestigious institutions of this kind.
