THE LANGAN BAND

Glasgow power-trio the John Langan Band have travelled a long way since winning a Danny Kyle Open Stage Award at Celtic Connections 2008 – not least musically, with their brilliantly tempestuous sound encompassing “a veritable United Nations of musical influences” (Folk Radio UK), including Celtic, Balkan, Gypsy and flamenco elements, fuelled by their visceral punk spirit.

With a deceptively stripped down line-up of vocals, guitar, fiddle, bass and percussion, their sound is guaranteed to provoke a fever in even the most reluctant dancers. 

The band will play two sets between 7 and 9pm
