RUM BUFFALO

With a unique take on raucous gypsy, jazz and swing, outrageous costume and a mad performance style, Rum Buffalo's high-energy and debauched party is like no other. Found in the early morning on festival stages and street corners alike, they always feature red-hot instrumentalists aplenty including Rick O'Connor on fiddle and Jake Stevens on tenor sax. Do not miss!

SOLANA

Solana translates as ‘a place with lots of sunlight’, and the band’s music certainly shines with the warmth of bright and exotic suns. Formed in Valencia, Spain in 2012, Solana began life as a Celtic folk trio; however, their line-up and style rapidly expanded to incorporate such diverse influences as swing, klezmer and Latin rhythms. Now an established band on the UK festival circuit, the core group are regularly joined by guest musicians from across Europe and beyond, and expand to a 9-piece for summer tours. Their latest release ‘The Travelling Fayre’ (2014) captures Solana’s unique energy, developed through extensive international touring, and has been well received both in the UK and on the continent.

Expect an eclectic high-energy fusion of styles, beautiful close harmonies and a healthy dose of improvisation. Solana’s sublime musicianship, intricate arrangements and driving grooves make feet move and faces smile!

JASMINE ROGERS

‘ Her beautiful, ethereal vocals are both, mesmerizing and captivating”

‘During her songs the audience become so quiet and transfixed that you could have heard a guitar pick drop, never mind a pin.  One of the most charismatic performers I have seen for some time’.
