PYJÆN
PYJÆN is the reflection of 5 souls. Their joy, their happiness, their worries and experiences come together in one unified higher identity. Their story will be expressed not only musically but visually and beyond.
Consisting of guitarist Dani Diodato, trumpet player Dylan Jones, saxophonist Ben Vize, drummer Charlie Hutchinson and bass player Benjamin Crane, PYJÆN released their debut, self-titled album released back in September 19, selling out of all vinyl within in a matter of weeks, as well as landing the face of Jazz UK on Spotify and featuring in ‘State of Jazz’.
The album was also widely welcomed and received support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Huey Morgan, The Vinyl Factory, CLASH Magazine and more.
2019 saw the band set off on tour around the UK, and play various festivals such as Glastonbury, Love Supreme, Brainchild and more, and also packing out Rough Trade East on the evening of their album release.
JAY KAYSER
Introducing Berklee educated 24-year-old British drummer Jas Kayser. Mentored by Terri-Lyne Carrington and currently moving between London and Panama City, where she teaches at pianist Danilo Perez’s Jazz Foundation, she’s also a composer and band leader who loves to explore the commonality between jazz and afro-beat. Jas has featured in bands with leading British lights Nubya Garcia, Ashley Henry and Jorja Smith as well as American drummer Ralph Peterson’s Big Band and had a starring role on drums alongside Lenny Kravitz in the official video for his song Low.
Jas Kayser’s Debut EP Unforced Rhythm of Grace, released on June 24th, is available on all platforms now.
Christos Stylianides
Christos Stylianides (born in Cyprus and raised just outside of Glasgow) is an improvising musician and composer based in London. As a trumpet player he leads his own quintet (CSV) while playing with a multitude of other artists throughout the UK and Europe as a sideman, both as trumpet player and electronic musician. With a deeply personal approach and sound, his musical output focuses on original and improvised music drawing from a host of influences across contemporary jazz, folk music, electronic/ambient music and many more.

Since our first season in 2013, our event at Dalston Eastern Curve Garden has always inspired audiences in a unique and thrilling way. This season of events captures the essence of a weekend rural festival in the centre of Dalston on a Tuesday evening.
The phenomenal surrounds of the garden combine with delicious pizzas from David Latto, and a supreme and ever-evolving roster of acts, to create a magical atmosphere which brings people together in a friendly and welcoming space.
It's a community of music-lovers joined to celebrate the warm months in a carefree and supportive atmosphere, with a compelling live soundtrack.
TICKETS
Limited seats are available in the auditorium, with a separation of at least 1m between each chair.
Tables can also be booked as a single block for groups which are cohabiting or in a 'bubble' together.
