RANDOLPH MATTHEWS
Randolph takes the audiences on an organically magical journey through his Voce Solo show. Edge of the seat improvisation and witty stories whilst technology layers his voice. Special guest are expected on the tour. As though sound is erupting from within him, a musical volcano of clicks and glottal stops, Jazz percussive melodies and songs composed out of audience members names. You cannot simply watch him perform; you and Randolph become the performance together. Matthews says “When I am introduced on stage, the wording is always” Randolph does his thing… so without further ado, here is his thing… “What that ‘thing’ is depends on the day and the audience.” One thing’s for sure you will most definitely have a unique and powerful experience.

DON KIPPER
Don Kipper are a multi award-winning innovative ensemble playing and transforming a wide range of traditional musical forms, from Turkish Fasıl and Greek Rebetiko to Romani music and Klezmer. While we attempt to root ourselves deeply in these traditions we always seek to explore radical interpretations and taut arrangements full of complex harmonies, polyrhythms and imaginative improvisation. Since 2013, we have released our First and Second albums, played two European Tours, and won the titles of both the Moshe Beregovski Award for best Klezmer Newcomers and The World Music Network’s Battle of the Bands.
We have extensive experience playing at UK and European festivals (Shambala UK, Mandrea IT, Hünsruck Open Art DE, Art in Action UK, to name but a few…) and venues (from The Vortex Jazz Club, King’s Place and Rich Mix in London, to venues in Austria, Germany, Italy and Czech Republic) and are acclaimed for our high octane shows that can guarantee an audience of ecstatic dancers! We are also available for all types of simchas and celebrations and particularly enjoy the Mitzvah of bringing joy to a bride, bridegroom and guests at a wedding.
